If you want to bring a car from the west to east maybe look at this one aswell. I was looking at it for myself but have decided to keep my car. It's auto though.

The problem is that there's nothing on this side of the country with similar features/options/kms.
Thanks for the info papa smurf. Was hoping someone might know it since it was a member of the Tickford club, but maybe not. |

That is owned by a forum member and on the east coast. I know its not a series 3 but maybe worth a look. I just bought a liquid silver series 3, manual with all options except sunroof, just over 100ks. There was another at a car yard in Brissi, manual with roof but no leather. Not sure which options are deal breakers for you. Good luck with your search

It is a beautiful car. Unfortunately though, after crunching the numbers I just can't justify laying that much cash down for a car that in the insurance world just isn't worth it.

I have been “looking” for an AU XR8 for a while. (Always tossing up what’s available, against my cash at bank balance, against parking space, against nagging wife.)
So I have been monitoring prices. They have definitely taken a kick upwards over recent months, that may just be coincidence, or could be that all “collectable” falcons are now being sought? Anyhow, they are still MUCH cheaper in Victoria than WA. I too want low ks and leather, and I have seen nice examples much cheaper. Possibly nothing around at the moment, but keep your eyes open.
