The new Sterling Bullet™ — competing in Class 4 & 5 — is lean and mean, ideally suited for Construction, Utility, Municipality & Government and P & D. The Bullet is vocationally specific, engineered by truck specialists who know your business. It does everything you need it to do ... safely, efficiently, economically. All day. Every day.
At Sterling Trucks, our family keeps expanding. From the Class 8 Set-Back vocational line with GVWRs up to 105,600 lbs. to the new Class 7 & 8 Set-Forward truck and the Class 3 – 5 Sterling 360 low cab-over-engine ... to the new Bullet. Sterling keeps building more of the work trucks that help keep America working. http://www.sterlingtrucks.com/Sterli.../Features.html |

Looks kind of like a dodge. Isn't sterling the old ford truck division that was bought out by mercedes?

Yes Sterling is owned by Daimler Crysler and was originally FORD Trucks.
They still carry the same lineup pretty much as when Ford owned the company, even some of the parts ive noticed are the same as EL Falcons (Aircon Vents) lol.

It would want to be better than the other crap they sell, imo Sterlings are the worst Nth American truck you can waste your money on.

Does it come standard with all of the usual Sterling features?
Like: An air conditioning unit that leaks water all over the passenger side floor. A sensor that detects summer and jams the heater on full. A plastic dashboard that creaks and rattles every time you go over a bump. Gauges that fail because they were made by a four year old girl in Indonesia. Plastic drain tap on the radiator that breaks in the middle of nowhere resulting in a total loss of coolant. High beam switches that flick the beam on for no apparent reason. Intermittent electrical faults in the windscreen wipers resulting in a total loss of function, that can’t be detected by mechanics. Super special halogen headlight globes that can’t be purchased anywhere other than a Sterling dealer. Sterling’s own speed sensors in a Roadranger gearbox instead of the speed sensors from the engine manufacturer, so when you break down and a mechanic drives two hours with what he thinks is the correct part, only to find a sensor that he’s never seen before. I could go on, however, this is bringing back so many painful memories. Yay, go Sterling, built to a price. When can I place my order?
