good' day guys and girls
well im a long time ford follower and have had a many since mainly older falcons and have had a mustang and a 71 capri with a 5lt in it but now i am the proud owner of a xg ute. after i brought her the head went after a week of having it so insted of fixing the head i got a reco engine worked out cheaper. so now she has a reco engine in her. i have lowered her 2inches i put a set of dba gold rotors on her coming of a zx10r i like to stop and her rotors were gone any way put all new shocks through new bush's and got given a k&n filter. ok i have a question will the EL XR front end bolt on to the XG cause from what i have seen the EL and the XG are the same bar the front end. i like the look of the EL Xr front.and i live in sydney and where is a good place to pick one up at a good price? Also i am working on building a hot supercharged 4L thinking of using the toyota supercharger and who makes good 4L go fast bits and is there someone who makes a good after market head? cheers guys oh and im a spray painter also |

I think you need the ute XR front. Ute and sedan use different gaurds etc.

Yep, BIG differences between XG ute and EL XR sedan metalwork past the a-pillar. It is doable though with some fabrication, I remember an article from a few years back about a 351-powered "XD XR8" (XD ute with EL/XH XR front).
XG vs XH I'd say there's still a bit of work involved in the changeover |

XH XR Ute will work but you'll need XH Guards, Hood, Grill, lights, Bumper etc.
It may be expensive and better to buy and XH XR Ute. EL front won't fit. |

Looks cr&p I reckon. The XH looked much better - I had a XH XR8 about 9 years ago now. Sounded great but the quality was sh!t !! The current Ute is soooo much better. |

XH Ute = EF EL Outside but XD Interior :( what a rotten mix
With the XG you could go the Twinlight Product from www.twinlight.com.au $595.00
