This is what happens when you hit a tree sideways between 150-200kph.
Amazingly (according to the email I got at work) both 18yo's walked away from this! The marks on the road look like the driver got into a spot of bother! Tree = 1 Ute = 2! LS1 half-cut, anyone? Cash the rego... & tub it? |

Those guys are lucky that it wasnt a front on impact, and it just tore the ute in half instead. They were bloody close to hitting a house by the looks of it, too.
It won't buff out. |

I tell you what, trees are invincible! Never ceases to amaze me how a living thing can do that to over a ton of steel moving that fast and remain standing.
