Default petrol spill

i didn't know where to post this

tonight on my way home from work i stopped at a servo and filled up a 5 litre jerry can for the lawn mower,
i had it sitting securly on the floor so it wasn't going to move around to much,
anyway as i went around a round about it moved and i caught the rim of it but the lid still leaked petrol onto the floor of my dads falcon,
he wasn't happy with me but said that it doesn't really matter that much. because i told him what really happened.

just wandering does anyone know the best way to get the smell out of the car(it is dry now)

You can get a product from any supermarket called Febreze. It is like an odour nutralizer and will get the smell out of the car.Just spray on the affected area and let it dry, as it dries the odour dissapears.Don't know what they put in it but it works.

Yeah, that stuff gets out anything... I hit & killed a dog once, and the owner (who was present) "compelled" me to put it in the boot of my car and dump it elsewhere... Don't ask, long story, and involves his children who were also present, who thought I'd hit a "really really big cat", meanwhile they're looking for their dog...

Moral of the story is: when walking your dog on a main arterial road which is not lit at night time, in an 80kph zone, use a damn leash!

Anyhoo the boot smelt of wet dog and blood, and febreze got the smell out ;)
