Default Prison Break Final - WTF?

I'm surprised this hasn't been asked already, but what did everyone make of the final episode last night?

Obviously it all went a bit pear-shaped but where to from here?

Loved the show but the ending had me asking a few question (mainly WTF?) and if it's not followed up be a second series (it would have to be) then it was a pretty crappy way to end a fantastic show

I thought the same as you.

It's had a great story throughout this entire season, and to end it like that is a real disappointment.

While it is a WTF ending, it is a good ending. It sets the tempo for the next season, and I cant wait for it! Really good show, there was a few unexpected twists in the last episode as well, the axe part was a shocker!

i chose not to watch it as i knew it would just turn out like Lost, 24 and other series that seem to have the same format.
will it ever end? no.
there will be a series 2....and 3....and 4....and so on.
remember when 24 started? it was sposed to be 24 episodes, 1 hour long representing real time for 1 day. that was meant to be all it was till money and ratings got involved.
prison break will be no different.

I downloaded the whole series and watched it all about a month ago and I tell you what, its a million times better when you don't have to wait a week between eps.

But when I got to the end I was like 'Damn it, still gonna have to wait anyway!' I was kind of hoping it would just end with them flying to Mexico or something, I don't want it to turn into Lost and just keep going on and on and on.

Anyway, Google Prison Break: Manhunt and you'll find a bit of info about the next series. Apparently it will revolve around a federal agent's search for the cons.

I agree - WTF?!

The thing that makes a first series good was it exclusivity and original idea. Once they try to make a second, third, and fourth series, it will lose its excusivity and become boring, like from a supermodel to a clapped out whore.

The new series is going to start losing viewers now, they'll run out of ideas for episodes, and will end up becoming a bore to watch.

I want closure dammit! If they keep stringing people on who want some form of closure, people will just lose interest.

Speaking of Haywire, does anyone else think that Materazzi from the Italian football team looks like him? Coincidentally they are also both psychotic.

I thought the final eposide of series 1 wasnt quite as good as some other episodes but i still enjoyed it great show. T-Bag got what was coming to him. It's been set up nicley for series 2. Michael's brother (forgot his stage name) is appearing on the next great outdoors to show us around his new home "The Windy Citi" Chiacago its good to see an Aussies actor playing a leading part in an awesome show. He will also shows behind the scences of Prison Break. Bring on series 2 I say.

I can't work out how they could make a second series all about these guys on the run, when all the cops with their dogs, guns and choppers are 50m away with them in an open field...........

I thought it was good how the well-thought-out plan ended up as basically a fumbled break out in the end, it's a little bit more like what would actually happen and there's no happy ending which is a nice change- although AN ending would have been easier to swallow than NO ending......

As was said before, a couple of surprises in the episode- Haywire and the Vanilla Ice kid got away under rather easy circumstances, the nurse OD'd, Teabag lost his hand rather maliciously, the president died and the Burrow's ex finds Steadman- could of been a good episode if it's been 2 hours long and finalised some things a bit better- seemed a bit rushed.......

I was hoping Captain Bellick would stay in the hole. Also, I don't know why Tancredi had a emotional break down she ******ed it for herself by being all scared and everyone noticed that. Who ever the actor is that plays the now president is, I don't like her, the secret service agent can **** off too.

The thread title made me laugh! My family watches it each week (Wednesday my brothers come over for dinner) and we were all like, "whhaaa-???" Frustrating.

There's too many unbelievable things in the show, but I watch it anyway :P
