Hi there Brenden, im Mick and I drive a 93 ED Futura thats been turbocharged.
Currently, the motor is completely stock, with an EDXR6 diff and BTR 4 speed. The output presently is 194rwkw. I am looking around for an engine builder to waive a wand over my 200 000 km motor and hopefully breathe new life into it. I had an extensive debate with ppl in reguards to what is safe to put thru a stock motor and from what other engine builders have suggested, 200rwkw+ is a big ask of a motor that only produced 139fwkw when new. What is your opinion on HEMI 265 rods as opposed to shot peened and hardened stock rods? Some young guys have mentioned your DEV5 cam is pretty good, wondering if these cams are Turbo friendly or do you sell turbo grind cams? Any info would be great, thanx..... Mick

What was the answer?
Cause i will be running twin t28s soon and im looking to cams and head work i would love a dev5 cam suit turbo or twin turbo if possible. Also don't you have a turbo grind dev5 cam in your el brenden as that is what i read in a mag once about your car? Cheers Spider

PSI250, I somehow think that your answer is unjustified in this forum, please take your talk elsewhere.

JMM DO Have two turbo grinds, but have added another.
along with the cams, we now have turbo, super charged series of valve springs and heavy duty ratainers for those without rev limiters. For the sake of your money spent preventing any valve float under boosted applications is a necessity. Also available for the xtreme are 10 degree locks and titanium ratainers to suit. We also have a streetfighter turbo head for the same street figher price. Stainless turbo valves are a must for high horsepower boosted engines and we have those. Jmm also have 20cc dish pistons for forced applications for 4 litres. To date, the JMM turbo has produced 410rwkw on 17 lbs of boost on synergy 8000 fuel. As tested at the Albury AME show. Please call us for your specific needs. It pays to do it right first time.

Truth is that a tubo on an AU I6 will be a more powerful setup than a supercharger. So will yours be faster..most probably. Will it sound better? DONT THINK SO!!! :eclipsee_

Tis in fun : Unfortunatly mine is quite a way off yet. I want to get it done right first go and to do that you need the right gear and the right installer. Brenden is a no brainer as the right installer, he is the best (doubt anyone has spent anywhere near as much time on supercharged I6's) and the right gear cost big bucks. Either way, I know that when it rolls out of JMM all done it will be a beast to be reckoned with... My own little showpiece of a hot Falcon I6.

Dan,
The engine build for a turbo au is a little different and can cost a little more to do than en EL but they are stronger. Addedd benefit is using the new JMM Sequential interceptor on the AU to tune it instead of expensive aftermarket ECU's needed for the eb's and so on. Au's, no worries.

So an aftermarket ECU is no longer needed? That has to be a benefit in getting things done legally and keeping the EPA happy.
Quick casper order one now! :

Dan, seriously come on!!!!!
You have an AU now, hmm thats tasty, I would love to get my hands on it. With the turbo, ECU, head n' cam, 3.45 LSD Diff and definately a JMM 3000 series stall. Can you seriously imagine how hairy it would be? "NO" neither can I. However sedate enough to drive mum around. HEHEhee

haha Im not sure what else can be done to it Brendan, Except for a retune and more boost its had all the work done I think. Although I cant be exactly sure of what cam it is running and what headwork it has.
Its running forged pistons, shotpeened rods, a custom grind cam and larger exhaust valves for sure but I cant be sure of the specifics. I guess that happens though when you buy a car already done :( Once I get it engineered and get some decent tyres Ill get it to the track then to the dyno then back to the track to see what she can do. I can say it makes the EB feel slow and 19 inch tyres suck for traction :
