How is it different from the current model???
I had the opportunity to go around Winton in one of the first series with the rover engines a couple of years back.... Absolutely amazing handling.... If I could afford one I would have it as a track only car!!!

Looks like a current model. They started putting the Celica motor into it maybe as early as 2 years ago in the top models. Made a hell of a lot of a difference, apparently. Described as the old motor with an extra few thousand rpm tacked onto the end.

The alloy Celica motor is heavier & peakier then the old Rover motor but now you can get a Supercharged version. That would be a laugh to drive.

Yeah I've heard that about the Celica motor as well. I know the other reason they used it was to clear US emissions regulations to have a crack at their market. At least the new donk should have some semblance of reliability too.

Lotus' are an awesome ride!

The one I am waiting for is the new Esprit, the drawings look great anyway.

Every thread started by 'anulu' is a link to a site with insane amounts of google adsense ads + popups.

Plus every thread is purely just a link to a site, and that's it.

*smells like a bot*

A mate brought one of these home a few years back as it was a trade in at a dealership. Not a hell of a lot of power, but for the power to weight, and low centre of gravity, makes it one bloody fun thing to drive. You had to resort to yoga positions to get in and out of the thing and the pedals were very close together, but it was virtually a bigger version of a gokart on the road. Ended up driving it around all night and would still be one of the most enjoyable things we've driven!

You are right - great spotting - just checked all the other posts and all they have is links to sites

This "anulu" bot has never replied in any thread it has started only posts at the strart with a link.

I thought "bots" were long and gone when the big chat sites we closed - but no here they are again :jab:
