How do I change my fuel filter?????
I changed it and everything looked fine untill i started it up and fuel started ИИИИing out of the screw in connection. I'm doing it at the minute so any help would be great!!!! Many thanks |

What car is it mate? I've had this exact problem when I was servicing one of the membrs on this forums car. It Turned out that the fuel filter had a manufacturing defect where the taper on one end was too large so it wasn't mating properly to the fuel pipe. I am still yet to go back and get a replacement fuel filter. Lucky I still have the receipt.

I got it sorted now mate....thanks.
I dont know what was wrong with the Ryco filter that i was using but I put in a Valvoline one and it worked out fine. Maybe it had a default as well!! (It's a Falcon EF BTW) Thanks Anyway. |
