Ok, this is something that has been bugging me for awhile.
I'll start with Emo, a term we should all be familiar with. I don't have a problem with emo's in general. They are quite weird, yet intriguing people. They are all into poetry, lovey dovey lonely songs and whatnot. What I do not get, is why they have to amplify their problems and let everyone know they are a little cry baby? We all have our problems, they're not alone in that respect... but they must tire of getting looked at everywhere they go. Or perhaps that is part of their attention seeking regime? Points of mention: They don't harm a living thing, are generally very nice people. Yet will cut themselves for the adrenaline rush, heard of skydiving? Now straight edge. A term I haven't heard until recently. These are people who are no drugs, no alcohol, nothing. With extremists not believing in modern medicine etc. What annoys me about a certain proportion of these "edge" people is that they are 15. They Listen to some really terrible (subjective on my part) music, such as thrash/punk/hardcorexemo. Think the most distorted guitar and drum bashing you have ever heard, with lyrics being "yelled" to the point where you think they guy has had his man hood and half his voice box removed. You'd generally think people listening to this sort of music would have to be up on cloud 9 with some really slurred speech to enjoy the music, even then I am unsure. Back to the 15 year olds. For starters, you are not old enough to buy alcohol or cigarettes, nor should you have any sort of contacts to get illegal drugs from. So, why, why are you pushing your “I’m a straight edge kid, have been for the past few months, I got wasted badly all the time, I needed a change.” Where were their parents during this? They lack discipline. In my opinion (yes I have one of those) these kids need to get out and see what the world is like. I believe they have become way to mentally screwed up with the easy access to internet in this time. These groups generally don’t bother me; they can do what they want how they want. It is when they are continually shoving it in others face’s that get’s quite belligerent. Also, any 15 yr old who is at either extreme is a terribly funny joke in itself. That’s all I have right now…. Any one else have an opinion they’d like to share (as well as anything constructive they can add) |

Someone get me a sledgehamer for those little bastards.
In all honest to goodness sprouting I could do right now, I would not waste my breath on them.
