The thought that someone like that could shatter your life by taking your loved ones from you just makes me angry.

This just proves, along with his IQ that Drugs and Booze are bad news, especially when taken together. This is something you would expect on the streets of America, not Tasmania. Both Driver and Passenger should be locked up for life.

Another example of the social fabric starting to come undone at the seams. I sometimes wonder if this is what happened to the ancient empires such as Rome and Egypt and caused their demise.

Thats horrible, how someone could do such a thing is beyond me! The fact that they thought it was funny at the time is just shocking! I'm sure they wouldn't find it as amusing if it was done to them or one of their loved ones!

See, this just proves my point that people are stupid. I propose an anti-stupidity law.. anyone with an IQ score of less then 100 be seperated from the rest of the world.... it'd work a treat... the less idiots, the better...

I can't believe it. When people say "What is the world coming to?", I've been asking that myself for years.

On a real minor side note, Steffo, please think before you type. How ridiculous.

What's rediculous about that? Anyone who's ever been to school should be able to score 100 in an IQ exam. Petty criminals like that idiot who killed the boy asking for directions tend to be mentally impotent..

Steady on. It's obvious to even someone with an IQ of 65 that the guy has a serious mental problem.

Its a sickening story, but instead of providing light hearted social commentary ("what's the world coming to?" "decay of society") I'd be asking how someone that deranged was able to get a licence (assuming he had one). You wouldnt give someone like that a gun licence would you? Would have been safer to do so than let him behind the wheel.

Padded cell for him and his mate.

Steffo, think for a minute, about how that sounds.........

Its not right to say at all!

Intelligence is not the issue at all.

It is also cruel and intolerant on your part to speak such things.

Killing someone is a crime and should be punished. Having a low IQ is not a crime and is likely to be a physical/mental condition. You dont have any disabled friends, do you?

Having a low IQ does not necessarily denote lack of mental ability. It denotes lack of education, willingless to learn etc. Generally, society's flops tend to have low IQ's. An IQ is a test of one's capacity to answer a selected series of questions. And generally, you'll find, that petty criminal's tend to be part of society's faliures. And have low IQ's. Not due to mental inability, but due to the conscious choice made to be on a lower level then the rest of society.

Genuinley mentally disabled is a different story.

And no, I don't have any disabled friends, but I have an aunt with a neural/nerve disorder.

Steffo, an IQ of 100 is considered average, [sic] there are plenty of people on either side of that score.

I say hang both of them.

Steffo, i needed a laugh and you gave me one.

Still in stitches reading this. Thanx Mate. :

If you knew what you were talking about, you would not be saying this.

Its a cruel, inaccurate generalisation.

Intelligence / Mental Capacity / IQ have SFA to do with it.

Some of the worst criminals are the brightest..........

Give it a rest mate, i am laughing too hard and can't handle anymore from you!

Generally, Australia's average is in the 110 range, North America's in the 90 - 100 range, Europe's in the 110 range, Africa's in the 85 - 95 range, Asia's in the 95 - 100 range... but its all relative.

And if the laws were the way I'd have them, in a case like this, with such obvious lack of regard for human life, and such sickening behaviour... the police would have the authority to take their gun out, and pump some hot lead between the eyes of the driver and passenger...
