Default brake fluid question

Hi

Have question, what would cause a bit of brake fluid to come out the container on a new master cyl between the container and metal part on master cyl at the o rings or the lid in the ba.

Opened lid on container and it hasn’t lost any and level hasn’t done down.

Had a whole new master cylinder fitted a few weeks ago and everything checked out good.
It doesn’t do it all time, just some.

Is there any chance that it might just be spillage and just a bit full.

Fluid is at max

brakes still work ok

Thanks

Perhaps the lid of the master cylinder was initially not put on correctly or all the way at the rear. I'd just continue to monitor it for a few weeks.

Would it be worth soaking some fluid up and have it at max/just below

No; that risks contaminating the fluid. Syringing or sucking some out with clean eye dropper, clean syringe or clean basting bulb suction tool would a better idea.

Ok what about the same thing that is used for sucking battery acid but buy a new one so it’s clean or use a new syringe

The canister is looking to be so full and wondering wether that might be all that’s wrong as it doesn’t seem to have lost much if any and brakes still seem to work good

The front of lid was easier than the back to unclip, would that be one reason

Did the brake pads get replaced after the master cylinder got changed out?
