XR8 Sprint for sale on the showroom floor

Picked up my new Xr6 Sprint this arvo and on the showroom floor is a Xr8 Sprint looking for a new owner.
Essondon Ford ask for Josh tell em Mark post on this forum.

Maughan Thiem Ford in Adelaide have a ZF equipped Gold 6 sprint on the showroom floor, i asked how much, $59990+orc.

Just looked at it. What a car! Looks great in Smoke I'd buy that in a heartbeat if i didn't have mine.

What better than Kynetic? only problem with white is almost half the eights sold were white.

Kinetic was not my first choice, or second and maybe not third. It looks good for sure, but it's definitely not my favourite. And yeh I know the White 8s are common but with the black Sprint highlights it looks a treat.

Actually there are more Kintetic XR8s than White ones.

I know it's not always good to assume to much but my dealer said they sold 12 and half were white.

Is that your local dealer, Phil Palma Ford, if so knowing what they’re like I wouldn’t believe that figure considering they told me a number that they had sold all up which was no where near double figures.

I'm sure once production ends and all XR8 sprints are sold it'll be easy enough to find out the breakdown of colours from Ford.

I would believe the above however simply because a white FGX XR8, sprint or not, looks the best IMO But i'm biased. Must admit though that Smoke one i saw today was gob smackingly beautiful, pics don't do it justice.

NO When I went there they said they were only allocated 3 sprints in total and they were all sold .

I reckon there were quite a few dropouts with good intentions and no finance, or mind changes. The ones i've heard of are that anyway.

To Ford, yes they were all sold out to their customers the dealers.
Yes pepe some are just that as well, people spending what they didn't have in the first place.
Just bare in mind, if you had a dealership and you bought some inventory, would you pre sell every single item at the same price especially that you knew this was the last batch of the commodity ?
Ofcourse not, I know I wouldn't.
Those scare ones left at dealers are hoping to make a little more as time goes by - sure its a gamble, if not you end up selling at the RRP....
