Did anyone attend Motorfest at Larder Park last weekend? It was the first time I attended the show and it wasn't bad. Had a great weekend. Only down side to it was the lack of Fords there. Holden's seemed to dominate everything.
 Now I want to build a burnout car for next year- Ford of course!! lol Here are some pics from the day. I'll try and get some videos up later. Sorry about the Holden's in there!

I think it's either a RB26 or a RB30 bottom end with a RB25 twin cam head on it (don't quote me that as I'm not 100% sure myself). Was very clean. The radiator was mounted in the boot and the inter cooler was where the radiator was meant to be. Was as big as the original radiator but 3 times thicker. Very clean car all round.

Yeah they were at the gates breathalyzing everyone as they left and checking a few cars at random. All things considered, they weren't too bad, and I didn't see any on the hwy coming home either. They could have been alot worse. Add to this that the event sold alcohol, and they didn't get one driver over the limit on the first day which made them and the organizers very happy ( not sure about Sunday though).
They were just doing their job and weren't abusing their powers as police officers as far as I could tell.

Only saw one car pulled over at the gate and it was an early corvette convertible with a twin carb fed supercharger set-up poking through the bonnet. That was why they pulled him to the side and defected him! Other than that, there were no other cars sitting there getting the once over by the police.
It seems that people are starting to act a bit more responsibly and aren't giving the police an excuse to look further into the cars leaving. About time I say.
