Default Marketing an FPV should be like this!

Great ad... imagine if Ford had a capable Advertising Agency like Skoda does.

LOL Look at the rant in the comments. I see one person calling it euro trash and writing "can you get a bigger piece of ****?". Thank goodness for the uncensored comments on YouTube, he couldn't say that here with the swear filter and all.

What a stupid ad. Might work on a car thats actually tough, not some weak Euro trash with a tiny engine.

Remember the short video where parts of the FG flew together, I think FPV could do something similar
maybe with parts of the S/C V8 coming together, diff wheels brakes all going together in to the car.
Then have Alan Moffat come in, start and drive it off with that beautiful V8 roar..

Another Ford Performance Vehicle.

I didn't say I would buy one, I asked which dealer he'd test drove the car at?

Incidentally, POS or not, that car will match a Falcon 6 for acceleration and out-handle it.

my reply was directed at the thread topic, not any other reply.

i personally don't think it is an awesome ad. the role of advertising a product is to make you want to buy that product. not once did that ad do that.

therefore, to me, its a rubbish ad.

and for those that fail at english and comprehension, saying an ad is rubbish is different to saying the actual product is rubbish.

Creates a memory. And it is different.

Ad success.

I didn't think the Vikings came from the Czech Republic though. I reckon Volvo could sue!

So if you don't have an appreciation for some crap looking, gay fwd hatch, you are automatically labelled a 'bogan knob?' Right.....

Nothing to do with having or not having an appreciation for anything...

more to do with you your typical bogan knob dribble post, and you just confirmed what I thought with this post

Fair enough. That said, if you didn't know what the car was and saw the ad, you might check out it's specs to decide if it's a "POS" or not, no?

Sometimes, an ad is more about informing rather than persuading. In this case, there might be someone out there looking for an alternative to, say, a Polo GTI or some other warm hatch, who didn't know about the Skoda until they saw the ad.

With reference back to the thread title, I don't know if this sort of ad would be good for an FPV. I would think most people who might be in the market for one would already know all about it.

And I can't imagine anyone dropping $70k on a car just because it had a cool ad. But that's just me.
