Default Where's all the Ford advertising?

They've had some crackers of TV ad's in the past, but the only recent one I can remember, is that Alan Moffat one, with the FG GT.

Even if they revived some of the 70's slogans, that'd be pretty cool.

Like a modern version of 'Going Ford, is the Going thing'.

Heck, even the Panelvan had it's own song, in the 70's.
(Falcon Van sets me free.... down by the riverside.....etc.)

Some classic Aussie Ford ad's

And checkout this Ford ad from the US -

Well listening to nova 91.9 here in adelaide, ford has heaps of radio commercials. I don't watch tv so can't comment on that

I have no idea why people say there is no Ford adds. I see them on TV on the radio. There is a Ford add on the radio at the moment saying about the FG plated 2011 model runout. Also there is billboards all around.

I here a fair few on the radio and when I do watch TV I have seen them there too. They have the ones that highlight the range of Ford vehicles and that the range is more diverse than ever.
Good ads actually.
May be people just want Falcon ads.

i see more ads in sydney spruiking mondeo's and fiesta's nowadays. and the occasional territory ad.

Why not use shane van cheesburger or mark winterbutt for FPV advertising?

Same here.. I havent seen an ad for the Falcon for a very long time, yet the other models appear to get more air time?

Last night I saw a new one for FPV, with FPV cars driving around an angled test track or something. Lang Lang? Anyway, it looked like a video game and was advertising runout sales or something.

I like the Hyundai one where the guy speaks and emphasises there's no special effects, no camera tricks, etc.

Just read this;

http://www.news.com.au/business/mark...-1226261554866

At least no advertising action is better than sponsoring a cold weather front and have it kill 100 people. Possibly the dopiest advertising idea I have ever heard.

People want Ford to advertise the MkII Falcon, you know, the one they just released but don't bother to advertise.

Not Fiesta, Focus, Ranger and 2011 plated FG's.

Ford has recently picked it up in advertising if you ask me, they had the new Territory ads plastered all over TV and billboards and seems to be doing them well.

I haven't seen any for the new MKII though.
