I was thinking that was a tad low actually haha.
I thought the lower profile tyre, the more pressure you want?

Also, just letting you know AFF does have a wheel and tyre technical area.

The pressure required is 38 to 40 psi for those tyres.
Remember force is pressure over area.
This relates to the area inside, the air cavity of the tyre.
Balloon tyres require much less pressure due to the surface area inside the tyre for correct inflation.
If we reduce the area for air inside the tyre you have to increase the pressure to maintain the correct footprint for that tyre.

They retail around $450 or so per tyre and 40 psi is a pretty good pressure for those tyres

Yep I have my 19's at 39psi, seems to be wearing even. I had them at 43 when I first got them, felt really smooth on a good road but the middle was wearing a bit fast.

Yes I have got fed up with my dealer lowering the tyres back to 32 the two times so far my car has been back there for visits. But surprisingly, the car was delivered new with 38psi in them. I'm just not used to people doing stuff to my car anymore when I've been servicing the previous one myself for 3-4 years.

I run 38 psi front and rear when cold. Have continually found the tyres wear evenly across the tread at that pressure.

Factory and dealer tyre pressure are for a comfort ride, not for enconomy or tyre life.. just bump them up.
