Default Ferrari factory pics (large file)

I found these pics on another site. I’d usually just post the link but the site isn’t what you’d call family friendly, so I just put the pics up.

Thanks to the site who originally posted them, you know who you are.

These pics are a great insight to what’s behind the one of the most famous names in the business.

Enjoy…

I watched a show on Discovery about the Ferrari factory. It was purposely built in a city design and sits on nearly 60 acres of land.

Ive seen that aswell, shows them casting parts for the car inc the engine block. And if it doesnt come up to spec it is melted down in a 'parts bin' to be re cast into something else. Its like a hospital inside thats how clean it is.

Ferrari is considered one of the most prestige places to work in Italy.
There is about a two year wait for employment and thats only if you "make the grade".

Don't you just love the little covers they use to protect the finish while they assemble the rest of the car.....
No wonder these things are worth as much as they are....

That truely is awesome.

I once watch a show about the great jobs in the world (or whatever it was about).
There is one guy at Ferrari who has the job of taking 1 brand new Ferrari, thrashing the hell out of it making the engine blow.
It is then his job to pull the engine apart and find out what went wrong and why.
Couldnt ask for a much better job than that!!

If you get the chance make sure you see the one on the Lamborghini factory.

It makes the ferrari factory look antiquated.

They still paint the cars by hand as well.

Great pics Danny, I have seen a doco on Foxtel about the Ferrari factory, absolutely clinical the way they build them.
