Default Bathurst/Mount Panorama track for GRID

Hey guys,
I didn't hear anything about this until one of my friends told me, so to just put the word out there Codemasters released a new DLC pack for GRID recently that features Bathurst and some new cars! Pity theres still no V8 Supercars. Anyone tried it? Made me dust off my copy of GRID. Its 15.99 on the Playstation store if anyone wants to race me my PSN username is MichaelF90

From what I can tell the track seems pretty accurate but I don't know the real track that well. Anyway it'll be good fun if its well supported maybe they'll make a new v8 supercars game who knows.

I haven't managed a clean lap yet but I'll post up my best lap time when I do!

I've been getting hell into GRID the last few days, had a LAN last night and cranked it out with a couple of mates.

Where do you go to get the download pack with Bathurst? I bought my copy of GRID from Steam can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm not sure if you can get it on PC Riksta... i think it might be a console only DLC like the previous 8-ball pack was.

Damn :( I'm sick of consoles getting all the good stuff :(

I just did a bit of research and found a release about the 8-Ball DLC for GRID on their site, dated Dec 4th 2008 - saying "News regarding when the PC DLC is coming out will be available soon." Well its been a hell of a lot longer than "Soon" and I can't find anything about it :(

Oh well, guess its more Vanilla GRID for me, still a damn fun game!!!

EDIT - just been reading over on the forums there, and it seems this latest "Prestige Pack" full of cars + Bathurst is a "PS3 Exclusive". And there's a forum full of very angry PC gamers. You think that Codemasters would read their own forums to see what their customers actually want, and release a PC version, oh well.

i've been playing grid on pc too. i bought it ages ago but never really got into it. i only recently pulled it out to have a fresh bash at it.
it seems to have inconsistent grip levels, and the centre pivot seems to be between the front wheels (when they spin out of control they spin like a slot car). what i hate most is starting from the rear of the grid all the time.
favourite class is demo derby. i guess that makes me a redneck!
