So do you have or prefer XBOX 360 or PS3?

For me it's the XBOX 360.

I like both! I have both.. Ive had all generations before.. Some games are just ment to be played with smaller controllers and some on 2 big fat potato controllers :P.. When i want a game to play on HDMI then its PS3.. When i just wanna play a game like GTA, xbox360..

Xbox 360 for the exclusives, has a much better selection of good games. PS3 has MGS4, Killzone and Gran Turismo, thats about it on the good exclusives. I've got a PS3, worst $750 ever spent.

You would get a better warranty from a pig, Microsoft is the GMH of consoles, never again. I'll stick with the black sony box.

i like the ps3 with hdmi but what what you do when turning the console off during games never ever turn a ps3 of when autosaving it currupts the hard drive and your fd

Haha I wouldn't even dare to start a hardware faults war between the PS3 and 360. The 360 is the worst, most unreliable console built in 15+ years.

the 3 red lights really only affects the older 1st release xbox 360 consoles. I've seen maybe 2-3 new release ones fail.

Search on youtube for all the laser related problems a PS3 suffers, I know as I've fixed close to 500 of them.

To M$'s credit, they fix them for free if you suffer the 3 red lights, they extended warranty to 3 years and threw US$1B at the fault.

Ive got 2 Ps3's. Much better than the 360 in my opinion. I use 1 in the lounge room for a Media Player and Blu Ray player. I stream all my movies etc to it in HD from my PC on to my TV. The second one is solely used for playing games in the study.

Online is free with ps3. Xbox you have to pay for online. If you have a psp you can remote play to your ps3, allowing you to watch TV/Movies and some games on your psp through the internet or internal network from your PS3.

Love my PS3. Made one small upgrade when I bought it.

I replaced the internal hardrive with a 200GB laptop harddrive. Now I have more than enough space for updates and game demos.

Do your research mate, both consoles have their pros and cons and the best way to determin a winner is to have owned them both.

Basically, Xbox reliablity was questionable until around about the time the X360 Elite was being produced, now they are of a high quality build. Also, online play, interface, controller, size of the console and range of accessories and games puts ticks in the box for the X360.

PS3 have a controller that feels like your playing with a set mouse trap, short periods of play are fine, but during dedicated stints in front of the screen your starting to wish you didnt have feeling in your hands. Size and price also make the PS3 less attractive, but it has Blu-ray DVD and all PS3 are HDMI enabled which basically just kicks a$$.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Screw 'em both, play this game and you won't care whether you have a PS3, X360 or even a PC.

I have a 360 and its great. It makes a lot of noise though! I think its the cooling fan? My PS2 was very quiet. I would have got the Sony but it is still too expensive. I traded both my old PS2 and Xbox with games at Game and did a clean swap for a 360 so I have happy! This was about a year ago. Whatever you choose make sure you buy Fallout3! I'm lovin it!

Wii way way out in front. But then again, its aimed at casual gamers, and even those who arent.

Xbox, in second. But for a console thats more expensive, and hasnt been out as long, PS3 wasnt far behind.

its had a turn around, the xbox 360s had a lot faulty first up, and now ironed out, i am seeing numerous dead PS3's coming back to work weekly now, new and quite a few old

Personally, I like my 360, but if it only had a BluRay player, I'd be loving it just that bit more. PS3 will be a 360 killer once it comes down in price, Microsoft should just make Xbox Live free, and they'll win the market for another year or two.

My 360 does the same thing, and my cousin's does too. My original Xbox is quieter. I have a PS3 aswell, and you can't even hear it.

I like both, but I prefer the PS3.

Sony have always been overrated, the hardware on their previous system has been below average.

Now finally the PS3 comes out with superior hardware yet still takes 10 hours to load anything.

No other console has ever taken anywhere near the length to load than the Playstation, it's very PC like.

I planned to get the PS3 over the 360 because all the best games are on both, with PS3 having blu ray.

But they just take to long to load a 360 takes a split second so i'll be purchasing noe of them.

I'm a Xbox 360 person.
In my opinion it has better games and more of them. Controllers are much better for me as well.
