Don't know too much about Sydney and Eastern Creek but would love to come over next year (from Perth so pardon my ignorance) to watch the Muscle car Masters.
How far out of town is EC and can you buy tickets at the gate or do you pre book them? Is there accomodation at EC or is it a short drive from Sydney? From what I saw on TV yesterday I picked up that it's on fathes Day, is this right and is it at the same time every year. Is it over a couple of days or just one day? Cheers in advance for any info.

Thanks Peuty, should have googled it 1st I suppose.
Thats a good site and pretty much answers my questions. Getting away for Dads Day might create a few hassles but hey it is my day afterall so I can do what I want.

Jaydee, I went up this year. It is a 2 day event, qually Sat am, racing Sat pm then racing plus parade/demonstration laps Sunday. Eastern Creek is easy to get to, roughly half way between Parramatta and Penrith. There is lots of accommodation nearby, a motel right near the track and lots within an easy drive. If you are flying in from Perth I would recommend picking up a hire car (with a map) and driving out there - on Sat am not on Friday afternoon peak hour!

Cheers outback ute, I think I'd rather do this than Bathurst, as said the cars are better and the racing much more fun.

OK looking good to get to the AMC Masters. Like I said, from Perth, never been to Sydney before. Will probably be me and my brother and a mate.
I've looked at the website and would like to stay at the Chifley Eastern Creek but it's all booked out on the Fri night but plenty of rooms Sat and Sunday, go figure. So planning on getting a hire car from air port and heading towards Parramatta and getting accomodation there (is this an OK neighborhood), anyone recommend somewhere to stay. Is there going to be a huge traffic jam sat morn trying to get to the track going from previous experiences? Any info mostly appreciated.

I used to watch them before they became "Retro" so it'd be a brilliant weekend!
