Default A Car for $6,000 or under...

Hi all,

My Charade itself and I'm not spending any money getting it fixed because its totally not worth it.

So I've been looking for a car for $6,000 or under.

I'm looking for a motor thats no bigger than 2.0L

K's no more than 200,000

No older than 1995.

I've been looking at Nissan Pulsar's and Toyota Corolla's but not finding much thats within my budget.

If anyone has some advice on where to find good cars in Melbourne Metro or even cars you know that are known to be good, that would fit my criteria, I'll be interested in hearing from you.

Cheers,

what about a laser or a festiva, though a post 95 laser will be pushing it, my festi is a fun little bus to drive, though its obviously built to a budget and made by kia. The lasers though are an absolute gem to drive and have generally bullet-proof reliability.

Though if you wish to go for another badge the corolla will always be a reliable choice, and also the world is your oyster for that cos about the main brand i would avoid would be a daewoo cos even hyundai excels are pretty good post 95

In all honesty go and buy another charade. The 1.3s have enough power and for 6 grand you should get a low kay example in pristine condition.
