The designers have had their pencils out, and came up with the best possible design options to be used as part of a site 'freshen up.
Now it's time for the rest of the general membership to have their say as to what design(s) they think will suit AFF into the near future. As we are looking at using a few of the more popular designs, rather then a single winning entry, the poll will allow for multiple choices to be registered, however we would prefer for voting members to limit their choices to their favourite 3 designs(ie only vote for 3). Please view ALL banner designs HERE in full res prior to placing your votes. The AFF Admin team will be selecting one lucky voter to receive an AFF Cap & keyring. |

This going to be hard.
I really like Big Pete's format now after going through them ... as it can be modified on a regular basis to show a feature car .. say a once a month change to keep it fresh. Good luck to every one in this.

Any chance they could be posted here, rather that looking at them in gallery, would make it much easier.
But at a first glance and a suggestion, whats wrong with the current banner, but upgrading it so that the car picture swaps, like the sponsors, maybe a rotating pic with a different car at the front.

It is intended that there will be a rotation of banners used, and that the current banner will stay there as part of the rotation. Will most likely be a rotation of 3-4 different banners that cycle through to provide an updated look.
The setup we use for the voting polls has been done to make the actual process as easy as possible. Can easily have the gallery images open in a seperate window to make it easy to line up your image from the gallery, with your voting choice. Having it in the same thread makes it trickier to scroll up / down, as well as introducing possible labeling errors. I believe that the homepage linking(ie click on the banner & it returns to the main AFF index page) will remain in place - no plans to alter that function. |

I chose hlc17 because I like the heritage with the XW/Y GTs and HOs.
I also don't like white backgrounds... Bigpete's were really good, but I am not a fan of white...

Toss up for me between hlc2_18, with the immortal XY GT, and bigpete3_9, the XA GT.
Went with the XA, seeing as it was the first Aus Falcon that wasn't a variation of it's American cousin.(I used to have one too, so I have a bit of a soft spot for em!)

I liked HLC's one best, the one which changed, hlc1_18. I also liked his static one, the design of that was easier on the eye than the stark white of big pete's. however, there is something about big pete's that really catch your eye.
Top job folks.

I love all of big petes. Love the clean white background. Love the fact that it is NOT JUST Falcon based, but by rotating the various Ford models, it represents everyones interest, and the rich variety of Fords we enjoy.
I can't see why you couldn't have all of big petes, and they simply come up randomly each time you log on (a bit like current sponsors banner) Well done everyone

I like all the ones with the cars but think that choosing one is to hard so I voted for jed67-1 as its simple effective looks good and I don't have to look at a front of any car unless you were to use my car then I would vote for that one for sure

I think it would be great to have all of them on rotation, they're all so good! It was tough to cull it down to three, but I picked bigpete5_11, because I'm a boxcar fan, xr6_661_1 because the 40th Anniversary GT looks grouse, and hlc2_18, because it's just plain bloody awesome haha.
Cheers
