Default speed camera question

Ive asked a few friends of mins this but they are not quite sure. Can speed cameras catch on coming drivers? Or are they getting the cars that pass the camera. I was a lil bored and drew a piccy. Thanks

nah mate. These cameras only have a small degree of coverage. I think about 20-30 degrees at most.

In the suituation of your diagram that particular camera would not get you.

We in W.A are still behind in the times and lucky i quess cause we havnt got these cameras that can get you from behind yet.

We are still legally allowed radar detectors and in this suituation would never get caught in this suituation.

By the way nice diagram!!

If you are in VIC and there are no other cars (eg oncoming traffic to you), then yes.

I was told that they cant get you from front on because the "flash" would blind the driver.
