Default Sea Patrol - opinions

Has anyone watched this new show? What do you think of it?

IMHO it is load of c**p. So may holes you could sail a ship though it. I'd like to list the errors but space and time do not permit.

To me its boring, unrealistic and just silly. The way Lisa Mcune disabled that guy the other night was like watching a cheap 80's martial arts movie. Also the acting definitely isn't great, something like Water Rats was a billion times better.

Taped the first episode cause it's on the same time as Lost and watched it later. Absolute crud. Didn't bother this week. Don't get me started on Lost.

great concept, terrible execution. Needs more flange even though it's a navy show

The new City Homicide series should be a better show than this garbage from Nine.

is it? really?
i havent watched it personally but im going to assume it has the same story line as 400 shows did before it.
there is either:
a murder
a mystery
a crime
an internal suspect
blah blah blah - the usual plot that a desperate show is clawing at.
this will result in:
2 or more unseemly likely stories intertwining and giving an answer.
some comical computer analystic - zoom in to an angle that couldnt have been recorded - hack type performance.
a stale flashback to whats in the fridge is important to solving the crime.
a storyline that is so unlikely it perceives to be entertaining.

i doubt there is anything really that different to much else that is on or has been on before.
its a local network, they dont have ideas, they buy ideas from overseas.

Why do Australian TV production companies insist upon basing an entire series on 6 or 8 people in a remote location.....and expect us to believe that there is always something exciting going on...gimme a friggin' break.

This will be like Blue Heelers on water, with a short stretch of Aussie coastline becoming the crime hub of the universe.

Nah...just a lot of tossers who don't know any better. There is a serious amount of crap on free to air TV.

Between the 9 network coming up with the next big thing : , and the 'Southern Cross' 10 network's target audience being 12 to 18 years old we're not left with much.

Like most other Aussie so called dramas, I don't know why we churn out this crud.
This show is Blue Heelers on water.

Its not the most rediclous idea on telly, it's probably 3rd.

Captain Jack Hardness (AKA Johny porno) in Torchwood out in front, with that infernal Pirate Master close behind.

I enjoyed that spice girl show from LA more.

If Lisa wins a LOGIE for her performance in this show, I don't think I will be able to cope.

Patrol Boat was Aussie gold. Sea Patrol is just lame. What's Steve Bisley doing in it? Just hope Lisa gets her kit off soon.

Logies are a joke anyway. I love it how they always get some 2 bit / has-been yank to come out here and 'co-host' for us. I can't stand the logies, mostly because their TV Weak affiliation (yes I spelt it weak on purpose).

The whole show is relying on dopey lisa mcclune to get its ratings. having her in it is enough reason for me NOT to watch it
