Default Movies not to rent

After watching some crap thought it would be a laugh to start a thread listing movies not to rent.
On holidays, staying with my dad and sister and have been renting some movies. Saw a trailer for a movie called "The Black Dahlai" looked ok, so the next day my dad rented it out. So that night we put it on and at start it didn't seem much like the trailer, turns out someone had decided to cash in on "The Black Dahlia" by releasing a film called "Black Dahlia". here is a review.

Flyboys
Drug wars

Ive rented everything good, so ive moved onto ****. Too bad it dosnt come in its own section.

Id also like to add house of 1000 corpses - that was just plain wierd, and house of wax - paris might look good but when it comes to acting she should stick to ammature porn

Might be a good idea to just copy and paste the list preceeding you and add your new addition to the top - makes for a good quick read on the last page

ie....

Hous of Wax
House of 1000 corpses
Spiceworld
Zoolander
Hard Candy
Flyboys
Drug wars
Star Wars

I think that was the point of the movie... or atleast that's how I justify watching the whole 2 hours of it.

Also, Star Wars and Zoolander are awesome! : :

haha, I doubt I will ever watch it, I'm a HUGE Douglas Adams fan but have heard so much about that movie that I don't want it to spoil this for me. I'll stick to the books/radio shows/original tv series.

Agreed, I'd heard so much good stuff about it, and when I came to watch it I actually found it quite drab, only got about halfway through it before switching it off.

Babysitters Club: The Movie.

I had to watch that with my sister for her 9th birthday. I was the only male in the cinema.

Shocking Asia - some semi documentary made in the early 80s, I stopped watching it after being surprised by footage of a semi-backyard sex change operation occurring. Butchers

Irreversible - french movie where when each scene ends, the previous scene begins, so the story in effect happens in reverse. Loved the concept (ok, it's been done before I know) but for those who have watched it, I had to leave the room during the gay bar fight scene at the start of the movie and the subway scene in the middle of the movie

Viva Rock Vegas

And anything to do with Harry Potter

I'll be cast out for this, but... Lord Of The Rings for me. It is just the most boring, slow moving, un-engaging story I have ever tried to watch. I have only ever seen about half of the first one, because I just get so bored waiting for something interesting! If you have a party and watch it, you'll find you'll be having a slumber party in no time!

And yes, Harry Potter. I did 3 or so of the movies, and read the books, but to be honest, it's nothing special really, don't go out of your way for it. I mean, it's OK, but not so great.
