Agreed. It was very average..... I mean, nothing really stood out, aside from the CGI, which, as usual was very impressive, but a bit overwhelming.

Too long... not enough Piratey stuff.. The wedding scene was the biggest load of farnarcle I've seen in a long time.
The missus liked Johnny Depp though... |

Very average, dragged on too much.
Though the CGI scenes were ******* awesome. Some **** was borderline stupid as well...like the whole calypso thing. |

Really disappointed with it actually. Loved 1, liked 2, but 3 went downhill fast. Seemed too thrown together, and dragged on without many memorable scenes...

Loved the first one, didn't like the second at all, thought the third was worth seeing.
Yeah, it was pretty long, but at least you got ya money's worth! And for those complaining about the wedding/beach scene, how the hell can you complain about those legs!!!! : |

I read reviews and read it was the worst of the three, but it is hard to have a three-part movie series which retains quality throughout.
I will see it, but yeah, not expecting. Just want to see the series die so I can move on to Harry Potter (hurry up!) |

Well i really enjoyed the third movie. In fact me n the missus have already seen it twice, Not a great, edge-of-your-seat story line agreed but then neither were the others. Just an enjoyable film with several good laughs and classic 'captain jack' humour.

I got rolled into watching the 3rd one and it is as bad as the first two. That said, Pirates 3 just broke a string of takings figures records in the US.

3's are generally the worst in trilogy's
Terminator, shrek, spiderman, back to the future, matrix, rambo the list goes on Only one that was better than the first two was LOTR, but it wasn't hard |

I'm with a few others here, I actually enjoyed it. Took the wife the other night, she enjoyed it too. I wouldn't give it rave reviews but I enjoyed it and would watch it again.

I refused to read this thread until after Saturday, as I knew a group of us were gathering to see it.
I didn't mind it. We had watched the first two on DVD before heading up to the cinema, I thought the third one was enjoyable, it had its moments, and I couldn't stop laughing when Keith Richards was on screen, not because his character was funny but because I just can't take Keith Richards seriously anymore. So who stayed until after the credits? ;)
