Thumbs up V8 Race Experience

WOW!!

Did a V8 Race Experience yesterday. AWESOME to say the least. So the power is not that great but the handling is unreal.

Highly recommended to anyone out there that doesn't get to do track work.

Check it out and enjoy!

I'd recommend the 8 laps at Qld Raceway, 5 just isn't enough. (I took the 8) :eclipsee_

Yep it is great fun but 8 laps is still not enough, i could go at for half a day no drama's and as you say they are speed limited but i suppose they need to be as anyone with a licence can drive them.

True 8 laps is no where near enough :( I could have sat out there most of yesterday and kept going at it. You only get better with the dynamics of the car and track with time.

Next I want to go to Eastern Creek for a strap around. think that would be a blast.

The ultimate though would have to be Bathurst.

Im goin to drive the formula fords at calder. They get around there quicker than the V8's apparently. Can't bloody wait. They reckon you get 25+ laps and tuition. I had the choice of the supercar mock up or the formula's. Deerrrr no brainer I reckon.

People I have spoken to that have done V8 Race Experience said it wasn't that good. I'd rather do a track day in my own car.

Blownba, im doing Formula Ford at Oran Park on the 28th of this month. Should be a blast!

My missus was gonna get me a shot at it for my birthday next month but i'm unsure about it now. Rather get new wheels for the S-Pack in readiness for the MB Autofest. Besides if they are speed limited, and limited to 8 laps it would be over before you get started.
