the only reason i bought the fast and the furious for $10 the other day was to see the ending where the charger comes out and aniahlates everything.
"so much tourque the chassis twisted of the liiine." prolly the best line from the movie.

"900 horses of detroit muscle" was the last line i thought to hear from a jap car movie.
and the fact that thing popping a wheelie, blowing a ?? (didnt have time to look), and beating a ricer which used 2 shots of NOS is gold.
also the fact that it spun the wheels and did a wheel stand is pure muscle lol.

you all have it wrong. there is a french movie i saw on sbs going back a few months i think it was called a man and a woman or something like that and i s**t you not it had and original le mans ford gt40 going apes**t around a race track. for an old '60's european movie with subtitles the note from that gt40 made me blow in my jocks more times than what jemma jameson could for the rest of my life. but apart from that heres my list
1. mad max fords
2. bullit stang
3. general lee
4. the muscle cars featured in metal skin ( aussie movie)
5. elanor
6. the muscle cars in the dodgy fast and furious movies
7. blown57 and fox 1 (running on empty)
8. the lead sled in cobra
9. chitty chitty bang bang
10. the little mini in the bourne identity

Be pretty hard to go past any Bond car.

As for the others - Steve McQueens car from Bullet
The shelby cobra from GI60Sec
The Audi S8 (on NOS) from Ronin

The Coupe in Two Hands .This was the movie that started the coupe thing for me when I was looking for a Aussie built V8 muscle car .
Then it just goes to all the cars already mentioned .I must say I love to see tuff cars in movies but its when you hear them that they take on the legend statues this is why elanor in the new gone in 60sec does it for me ..

I am surprised on a Ford Forum that no one has mentioned the XY GTHO from Running On Empty! I nearly cried when it was driven under the truck and given a "pretty radical top chop".

Cannonball Run had a few good cars too.

What about Tom Selleck's Ferrari in Magnum PI?

What about Herbie in the original Love Bug? There was a nice E-Type Jag in it too that Herbie trashed out of jealousy.

Then there's Maxwell Smart's Sunbeam Tiger - powered by Ford V8 too!

How could anyone forget the AC Cobra and the Porsche from bad Boys?

The BEST car of all time in ANY movie is.......

The Wagonqueen Family Truckster in Metallic Pea with Wood paneling.

From National Lampoon's Vacation and also known as a modified Ford LTD Country Squire station wagon.

Gotta love the Griswolds!

What about the Val's in Metal skin? Or any of the Aussie muscle cars in the whole movie for that matter!

For me it'd be a tie between the charger from "fast and the furious" and eleanor.
