Despite what you all may think about the Xbox360 and PS3 hardware specs.
Both consoles are very similar in overall performance and its already been proven, if any of you have been visiting videogame sites lately and seen footage of PS3 games in action they look no better than whats currently available on the new xbox.

So in reality, the real reason why you are paying $1000 for the console alone is because of its new Bluray DVD drive which is new technology and therefore expensive.
There are also rumours that MS will price drop the 360 around PS3 launch hurting sales figures even more.

i grew up playing computer games among doing other things, played racing games all the time, lotus, NFS1 2 etc etc etc, STUNTS!! indy 500 etc. I'm not fat lol. I believe i developed a lot of my driving skill from playing computer games (eg avoiding accidents, emergency procedures (brake lock up, drift skidding etc)) so i can't see it as being a bad thing. As someone said, parenting is everything..

Anyway it's amazing how some people can turn even the most innocent of threads into a political debate.. computer games, jeez. CALL THE PM!!

Firstly u don't beat car games(GT-3) there a never ending game secondly computer games don't make kids fat it's up to there parents to see that dosn't happen.

PS3 Looks awesome. A specific feature with Formula1 2006 on the PS3 Console is the Playstaion Portable (PSP) can be used as a revision mirror. The PSP wireless links with the PS3 then provides an image of the cars behind just like a rear view mirror...Pretty sweet if you both own the PSP and PS3

Interesting comment. I think most of my driving skill in a theoretical sense would have come from gaming also. Things like setup, body transfer, position on the track to maintain speed on corners, etc etc. Practically though, there is A LOT of difference in handling characteristics and the ability to absorb surroundings.

Will probably consider a PS3 when they drop in price.

Pc can be upgrade to fair bypass anything the ps3 can do or the xbox 360. Myself i wait till there cheap.

In game shots of 2 Days To Vegas look quite good. From all reports it's a game similar to Driver involving car chases & free roaming street missions etc.
Walking up to & stealing these cars looks appealing.

Apart from the obvious, there's a few smaller things that look impressive (last pic for example) the reflection of the white pick up in the polished truck trailer & the detail in the van top/far left, same pic.

it's traditionally been released that way mate, ever since i can remember. The PC version is always 6 months to a year behind the console versions. I think you'll find the same thing will happen with GTA4. There is no better game.
