Default FPV Open Day pulic transport

Hi all

Wondering if I could get some help....I am travelling over tomorrow from Adelaide for the FPV Open Day on Sunday.

We are staying in Coburg at Big 4 Caravan Park and we have an early start on Sunday......my wife and 2 children probably wont be too keen on spending the whole day at FPV and they were going to come up later.

Is there any trains or trams from around Bell Street to near FPV??

Thanks for any help.

Cheers

Brad

There's definately no trams that go that far,you could catch a train that goes to the Upfield Station, which is behind the Ford Assembly plant 1 ,then walk along Barry Rd to the Hume hwy, turn left up the Hume hwy and then turn next right into Glenbarry rd.It will be a good 1 klm walk to FPV from Upfield train station, otherwise you might be able to catch a bus or a taxi.
Cheers John

Brad, check out this link http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/t...nsport_map.php

There are maps of public transport routes, do a search on Hume Highway or Campbellfield to get routes that go between Coburg and Hume Hwy near Ford and FPV

I'm not sure if the service runs Sunday though, would be worth checking out in case they get stuck at the Caravan Park or worse get a ride in a garlicy taxi!
