I have ask him a question.....

Wouldn't selling this item be classed as fraudulent, and anyone that bought a fraudulent copy be also committing a criminal act that would be punishable by a large fine and /or jail....... Please respond.. I and many others would to hear what you have to say about this.

Only jerkoff? I'd be harsher, but the autocensor would get me.

That gives me the 5hits!
Dont they have a moderator or someone who keeps an eye on things like this.
Its ironic(and im not havin a shot at any mods here) that if you say something sensitive on a forum you get grilled straight away by the people trying to keep the peace, yet some tool can sell a document, that im sure GT owners find very important to the integrity of their valuable investment, and Ebay wouldn't have a clue. You will always get lesser beings trying to sell some con but surely if the people runnin Ebay provide a medium for people to sell thing they should have people looking out for sensitive articles.

Shame Ebay....Shame

You can report the item.... there should be a link on the page...

Notice the 0 feedback he has recieved!

The only fraudulent he would get done for is forging sigs.

The cert itself wouldn't be fraud would it, as it's nothing official?

Either way, I think that any loser wanting to buy that should actually be putting their penny's away for more mods...or buying a GT!

I would have thought that there would be an element of seller son eBay that would rely on CoA to sell their wares, therefore eBay would want to protect the integrity of such documents. Additional to eBay, I imagine Ford and particularly FPV would have concerns about this kind of thing being for sale.

Has anyone e-mailed 13FORD via the Ford or FPV website? I shall do it now in any case.

A newbee, don't think he will last long, his shipping costs are red hot. $15.00 reg mail and if you want it in a hurry $25.00, and all it is is a bit of cardboard.

ohhh nice.
next he'll be offering 'blank' ID plates.
"just stamp your VIN No., Engine No., and VOILA!!! GT 4 me..."

looks like the 'fake' GT market that surrounds the XR-XY & XA-XB models will be with us for a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGG time yet, with the only difference being that it's now BA-BF's.
And it'll be even harder to prove that a 'well done' fake is just that (a fake) if the owner has 1 of these.

I can see the 'ripped off' stories coming a mile off already...

It looks like he has just joined ebay to make a few quick bucks.. Notice the member since 11-Apr-06 tag..

I have an Xr6 ute.. I have the fpv stripes etc etc, i couldnt afford the real thing, but im no advocate for making it a "real-fake", i admire all that have the real thing, hoping one day i can afford it..

but this guy is an idiot, should be caught soon

There's nothing wrong with doing as you've done, IMHO.

It's a bit like all the XY's around with GT stripes. As long as the car is openly made known that it's not a 'real' one, then all is OK, like you have done with your stripes on your XR6 (try to pass it off as an FPV, that is).
What worries me is the few that might try to tart up an XR8 to be a 'GT', then pass it off as a real one to rip some poor bugger off...
