Quote:
An Italian driver has been slapped with a monster €863.60 ($1400 AUD) fine after she allegedly drove more than ten times the speed limit... in a Ford Focus.

According to the fine issued by local authorities, the woman allegedly hit speeds of 703km/h in a 70 zone.
PS: I didn't even think they could do 210 km/hr

???? I suspect she was probably doing all of 70.3 km/hr in a 70 km/hr zone.

I wonder if the typist transcribing the data hit "3" instead of "ENTER" on the nymeric keypad after typing in 70 and the lady was not speeding at all.

quite a reasonable fine for such a speed (633 over the speed limit), here they would charge more I'm sure!

Why was anything being typed at all if they weren’t speeding
