New shed ideas help with ideas

Hey there , Im Currently planning a New shed build on my Property and would like a bit of feedback and maybe some ideas , Currently the Size is 7mx8.1mx3.4mH , Do you think this will be a sificient size for general Automotive work/Restoration/Engine Building ? i will be installing a 2 post Car Hoist .

Build it big enough to install a 4 post as well. Then you car park one car under another..

Too small, ideally. What’s your wall height - or is that the 3.4?

Aim for 35° roof to maximise airspace or loft storage.

Rule of thumb when building a shed is, build it bigger than you think you need or you'll constantly regret you didn't.

Go as big as you can. You'll fill the space. I have 16x10x3.5(at edges so about 4m in middle) and it's still sometimes a pain. Also, plan to chuck a crapper and a kitchenette in it, it's a game changer

Also, if you are going custom, plan it to 8m lengths of rhs and you'll end up with portal frames about my size with no offcut

Ventilation. Not so much for sniffing fumes, but more trying to keep the inside temp of the shed closer to the outside temp then being a sweat box in summer. Insulation and whirly gigs work, but whirly gigs only do so much. So, granted my house is built like a house not a shed, but im making the safe assumption your shed will have power. One thing that i wired into my house is an exhaust fan on a thermostat. So the mushroom housing protrudes through the roof tiles. The thermostat is set at 40 degrees, being a house, 40 for the temp in the ceiling space is around 28. It doesnt cool the house, but it prevents it getting more then a handfull of degrees warmer then outside. So i dont run mine off a switch. Its straight off the thermostat for my house, but i tend to live in my house every day. An in a sweaty shed working away, being slightly less sweaty working away in the warmer months may be of a minor advantage.

go as big as u can afford and fit.mine is 15*25 with 3.6walls at 10deg pitch which gives 5m in the centre(about 4.8 clearspace)if u ever want to get on the roof 10deg is good 22deg is most house roofs which can be a bit slippery at that angle.def another vote here for a toilet ,ive got a kitchen and shower as well which comes in handy.ive had to build another shed as i have a compulsive toy buying dissorder and ran out of room

Cheers for the feedback, the design at the moment is 3.4 high walls with 15degree pitch , I'm starting to intrude on my back yard space a little. At 8.1 long by 7m wide will this be big enough for worship space ? , I'd love to go bigger but the property size is only 750m2 , and yes the shed will be powered , including 3 phase

Depends on the size of your congregation.

A car, dismantled, requires practical workspace equal to at least three whole cars.

By definition a shed can only ever be adequate. It can never be sufficient.
You will fill whatever you build.
