Hyundai IONIQ 2018 Review - Motoring
https://www.motoring.com.au/hyundai-...review-111718/ Thoughts? I'm pretty excited about this to be honest given we haven't had much low end choice in terms of electric vehicles here. I was in an i30 rental on holidays recently and it was a nice car.

I had one as a hire car FO a couple of days recently. Followed by a golf for another few days. The golf, while being bottom of the spec list was engaging and compliant and encouraging as youd expect.
The ioniq having every possible gimmick surprised me with fit and finish, in.my opinion questionable style but did not give the same engagement or confidence through the twisties. It did have substantially better economy given it ran pure electric for only 10 minutes. Around town as a town car it should do well with the masses. But not for me on dynamics or style. JP |
