Default Rapid Systems

Just wondering if any of you have had trouble ordering parts from Rapid Systems before?
I ordered an intake muffler delete pipe for my fg 5 weeks ago and it still has not arrived. I contacted him 2 weeks after I ordered it and he told me that the order for some reason didn't come up on his system and that it will be sent out the next day.
Fast forward another 2 weeks and the pipe still had to arrived so I lodged a PayPal request for a refund. The next day I received an email again saying sorry the item has not been posted out, but will be sent out Monday as soon as normal hours resume.
That should have been last week and still no luck.
I am not one to name and shame usually, but I am down $170 and it looks like I won't be getting my pipe any time soon!
It's a shame as I was going to order a few other things from him too.

You can be forgiven for getting suckered in. It just takes time for people to realize the ebay stinks!

I have only ever tried to purchase one item once from ebay & they screwed the pooch, so never again. If I can't buy it locally...I don't buy it at all!

Yeah Rapid Systems is are a bit hit and miss unfortunately, it took well over a month with multiple phone calls to get an airbox and battery kit from him for my old F6. My advice would be to get your gear from Process West

Ebay is not the problem, it's some of the sellers. I realise you got burnt but if you pay with Paypal, you normally get your money back when you don't receive the goods. All sellers are supposed to send item registered post, if they don't, paypal will refund the money.

There are plenty of top sellers and great products on ebay.

Just pointing out that the OP doesn't mention eBay, just that he paid through PayPal, which on Rapid Systems website is an option......

Just sayin....

Yeah nothing to do with eBay here, although he does sell some gear on eBay.
He has a pretty large website related mainly to intake and exhaust systems for the BA-FG Turbo's. Used to have a pretty good name for himself too.
Definitely going with Process West from now on.

Unfortunately Rapid Systems has a long list of unhappy customers.

You've made a good choice in the end. You can't go wrong with Process West IMO. Kev understands the importance of customer service.

Everyone gets suckered in by Rapid's cheap prices, but quickly learn that you get what you pay for.

Process West may be a bit dearer, but their customer service skills and quality of product are top notch.
