Default Porsche 918 Spyder revealed in leaked brochure?

What an awesome machine. If only they sold them here and more importantly I had the funds to purchase one.

Oh and not that I really care but

Porsche claims 7:14 lap time for 918 Spyder on Nürburgring
Quote:
Porsche has just updated its Facebook page with new information regarding how quickly its upcoming 918 Spyder can go around the famed Nürburgring in Germany. According to its maker, the 770-horsepower hybrid supercar can lap the 'Ring in seven minutes and 14 seconds.

Unfortunately, Porsche didn't provide the tenths of a second needed to determine exactly where the 918 Spyder falls on the unofficial list of production car lap times for the 'Ring, but even without that, we can say that it lands in the company of the Lexus LFA Nürburgring Package (7:14:64) and Donkervoort D8 RS (7:14:89), but falls behind the Dodge Viper ACR (7:12:13), Gumpert Apollo Sport (7:11:57) and a pair of Radicals that hardly meet our criteria for being called production cars, but nevertheless can tame the 'Ring in under seven minutes.

Porsche also didn't divulge other salient details like which 918 Spyder achieved this feat and what sort of tires it was fitted with. Our guess is that the car was a test mule, as that's all we've seen on the 'Ring so far, but as for tires, that's a big question yet to be answered. The time as it stands will be all the more impressive if Porsche reveals it was achieved on street tires meant for the production car.

Not quick enough, the target is to get under 7min. mark, thats what is planned for the new Ferrari F70 [Enzo replacement]

Also the new McLaren F1 released yesterday will be its target time.

Nice job by Porker all the same!

A martini livery 918 would go nicely with a gulf oil Ford GT in my dream garage.

looks cool, but did they use a iPhone 5 for the center consol, looks the same size lol.

In seriousness, looks like a cool layout, and some nice interaction with media players will be included.

I love that media player integration into the floating centre console.

Yes. I believe like a nitrous button on Fast and the Furious, it releases the electricity to the electric motors built up by the KERS. They use a big *** flywheel/capacitor instead of a battery, so it won't fail like a battery... but only holds enough for small duration bursts... like 30 seconds or something.
