Question Xy Gt 350?? Wtf

Spotted in Springwood NSW last week.

XY GT Phase 3 (replica i guess)
Seemed perfect in every respect, EXCEPT the black stripe on the front wing had "350-GT" reversed out instead of the usual "351-GT"....
:

I had to look twice, it definitely had "350"!
I wish i could have stopped to aske the owner what the story was.

I have heard of an XY with a 350 getting around, better take the Tar and Feathers to the next all Ford in case he turns up.

Probably find it's of a Mustang GT 350, no reference to engine size.

Was normal Phase 3 body and paint job etc.
Only visual difference between this and evey othe XY Gt i have ever seen was the 350 on side in place of 351. I didnt see the back or the interior tho.

Cos Holden switched to the Torana instead of competing with hotter 350's

A lot worse seeing the Stang with the skyline motor.
