It is all kinds of sexy, but I'd rather a XA GT coupe

Very rare indeed. It is Brockys anniversary today though so not surprised something like this has come up.

seeing as what an original GTHO phIII goes for (or has in the past) and the numbers built, i would say this example would be a lot rarer. All depends what someone is willing to pay really!

He should start bidding at $1. With reserve of course. And see how high it would get. 147 offers, surely some of them would be ligit buyers. Maybe? Or they want to trade their VN wagon on gas as part payment

I wonder if the clock has been wound back on that one?
A mate owned one very similar to that (same colour, trim, wheels), but with the kms a little higher than that when he sold it in the mid '90's.

it is rare, but "to me" it is ugly as - it makes the wd40 look beautiful. if someone did that to a vl in their garage, it would have been in the epic fail thread the only history it has is that it sent brock broke - so "to me" i am unsure why a holden fan would actually want it however, i do not want it so my opinion is not that valid hopefully whoever owns it in the near future is happy with the vehicle and it's value - be it the current or a new owner, because that is all that matters |

I have no idea what it is work but it's butt ugly and sounds like a lot of dough for plastic
If I was going to spend big bucks on a holden it would be on a Bathurst Monaro or similar classic |

I bought an EL Falcon off a guy once that owns 1 of the 6 ever released of these in the VL Turbo option. All of them had been written off except two, a red one and a blue one (this is only what he told me)... and the red one had been purchased back by Holden. He had the #001 plated one (I saw the car in person) and had apparently just knocked back an offer from Holden for $200k. Was unregistered and parked.. he'd owned it since new.

although I think it is ugly some people probably think the same of some cars love.
the reality the value of a car is not what he wants for it or what you say it's worth, it is what someone is willing to pay for ir

If the question is "how rare is it", you would compare it to anything else that was built as a one off in the shed of any back yard; if the question is "how valuable is it", you would compare it to any other car you could buy for the same money...my guess is there are a whole lot of other vehicles anyone here would buy before looking at this,...
