You can't overtake if you have to go even one kph over the posted limit to do so...full stop. Police have been drumming it into people for years now.
Doesn't stop me doing so when it's safe of course... |

Too busy, can't afford it, e.t.c. e.t.c. one excuse after another after another.... Always plenty of money for booze and smokes though. I tell ya, youth of today, its damm near impossible to tell them anything, both my daughters in sooooo many ways tell me they know everything allready. They're now both over 21, the responsibility now sheets home 100% where it belongs as far as I am concerned. |

With all due respect Flappist, I would like to see proof (facts or figures) to back a statement like that. I would have thought fatigue, would have been the most common situation for head on crashes (my opinion only, no facts to back this up). |

My info comes from many conversations with friends in our local traffic branch and is based on their personal daily observations. Fatigue is another common cause but fatigue can also interfere with your judgement thereby causing you to overtke when you should not. But all the stats are available, go for your life looking them up. |
