Hmm....

Over the years I've had A Fiat, Honda, Skoda, Mitsubishi, Holden, Ford, Yamaha and currently a Toyota, Holden and a Harley-Davidson.

Must be a total headcase

By the way, the mrs White toyota corolla is and will always be my weapon of choice when it comes to hedging a bet on what would make it around the country without issue if I left tomorrow.

Oh and Love the Bentley advert above, very well played sir.

To not run the risk of offending anyone. I dont entirly agree with this thread and to say the OP is "one eyed" is a little mild me thinks... Apparently Ford drivers appear to be sent from God himself whilst everyone else is dopes. I guess it was the kind of thread Id image reading on a competitors forum...

The police drive them too. Your judgement must be correct.

Some dodgy stats and info for the panel to consider:

1. On a per rata basis, Ford drivers appear less frequently in official crime statistics than drivers of any other brand of car.

2. In comparison with Holden drivers, Ford drivers are more likely to:

a) Obey traffic signs
b) Slow down when approaching crossings
c) Stop by the motorway to assist an injured pet or person

3. Adam Phillips likened the interior of the VE Commodore as having "less taste than a bottle of aging draino"

4. Ford drivers spend less money having to service their cars and replace worn tyres than Holden and Toyota drivers combined.

5. You are more likely to survive a horrific car crash in a Falcon than in a Commodore.

6. There is more technology in the modern Ford Falcon that was developed in the decade ending 1970.

7. Blue is more congenial colour that red.

8. A female in a Ford is more likely to be respected and treated more kindly than the same female in a Holden.

9. The 2002-Falcon exterior produces better aerodynamics that the Lamborghini Countach

10. Ford own Mazda.

On any objective basis, by any responsible measure, Fords are superior vehicles driven by above average people.

But our sisters and brothers who drive around in other branded vehcile are to be pitied, not hated.

Forgive them, because they know not what they drive.

If you're looking for a subcompact car:
1. Enter the Toyota dealer
2. Take a Prius C for a test drive
3. Walk back out and go to the Ford dealer across the road
4. Put your money down for a Fiesta LX diesel
5. Drive home, thanking your lucky stars that you actually bought a supermini that actually handles

Yeah, Id say that most commodores drivers give the few good ones a bad name.

I think its about time we all came clean, roll up our sleeves and lay down the law down to the lemmings and misfits who think that dinky overseas cars are desirable.

Lets start with Toyota-you know their engineers must have tried really hard to build a car that wouldn't stop. It takes real effort to make something thats worked for over 120 years at least (called a brake) less functional than a rolls royce hood ornament.

And Id like to especially thank them for the warning light on my previous car that came on only after the damage was done and my engine was about to melt through the tarmac on its way to heat up the earths core!

Hello Holden.

Thanks for introducing the Cruze to Australia when the ones in the U.S have been catching fire more often than a monk at a peace rally.

Chrysler

They almost had a good car with the 2.6 litre Sigma. Then they wrecked it by shoving tons of metal on it. The US use them as anchors for their 450,000 tonne aircraft carriers.

As for poncey european cars, pound for pound, Aussie cars stomp on them on every single automotive criterion. They are driven by people who for the most part, have their heads right up their backsides.

Koreans

You cant turn a pigs ear into a silk purse. They might look funky, but their engines are still rubbish and their panels crumble if you stare at them too hard.

Sorry folks, this fair land of ours is a true blue Ford country. We gave the world decent cars and still punch well above our weight.

I met some Ford parts guys today. Nice blokes, amazingly excellent prices.

Love it or leave it.

Im not biased, merely honest.

I think we've all had our fun on this one.
Time to move forward while we all have some a smile on our faces.
It would be just as easy(and in some circumstances) more accurate to cut the brand names off here, reshuffle the order, and reread them..
