In 04/02/12, Courier Mail, they have a road test on the coming 300c SRT.
It will be priced at $65k plus on roads..thats going to give FPV and HSV a headache!! couldn't find the article on line to post..

I want one ! (next year when it gets the 8 spd tranny). White with black wheels ! Strong Oz dollar rocks ! $65K would be a bargain, esp' compared against a HSV, (FPV are further advanced with the s/c V8's ) Why is "S e p o" edited out ?

Mother of the man upstairs!
65k for 6.4 Litre beast! Thats retail GS money.... If chrysler have sorted the driving dynamics, its going to make the SRT a seriously good proposition. |

There is a white one in Melbourne right now, arrived from the US two weeks ago along with a gun metal grey SRT Jeep GC.

Id buy this over the insane clown faced HSV no worries. I like that its plain and has an air of 'sleeper' about it. Each to their own i guess.

It might look plain but I reckon that car is more about proportions and stance.
Seems cheap compared to ours.

I would hate owning a Holden SS and seeing one every 100m exactly the same or a hsv and seeing one every 1000m. My driveway. I love it. http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...97608335_n.jpg Old picture from 6 months ago. Last edited by Ben73; 04-02-2012 at 10:17 PM. |

$65k is going to be very appealing to anyone looking at HSV/FPV, I know I would probably lean towards one of these over a GT.

It's a very tempting deal indeed. For me, the deal breaker is the lack of a manual.
I have been tossing up for a few months over this, a HSV and a GT. If it had a man type transmission it would be a no brainer. |

WELL we all know were their customers will come from to buy this beast......ford......and ill garuntee that because we see in nearly evevry ford in aus....it doesnt matter how good the fords are, it is the holden and the brand loyalists who continue to hand over doe for holdens no matter how bad they are. A perfect example is the crappy old colorado outsold the world conquering new ranger this month....i mean seriously...if your buying a 4x4...how can there be sooo many people who want the absolute bottom of the barrel. i mean even mag comparos dont bother ading the colorado to the line up.......but the old holden faithfull......bunch of blind sheep

When the first model came out, i was of the opinion that if i was in the market for a large 4 door sedan or wagon this would be the one....
I still have that same opinion with the new one.....
