Read about this yesterday. I really liked the bit that said "the occupants were asleep at the time" and the time was 4:15pm, but then again considering the house was near a police bomb range and a jail, one can assume they don't have active employment. I could be wrong.

Well sometimes stuff happens. Luckily no one was hurt.
I sure hope this does not cause too much grief for Mythbusters. |

Was watching it a few night ago where they were trying the rocket powered torpedo in a small lake. The first few got airbourne and im thinking... that ballistic glass wont save you if it flys in from above!! lol
Gotta love the show though, they do some really incredible stuff on there. Im sure their insurance just went up again though

Will a bunch of clowns inevitably endanger the public?

I don't understand how this did so much damage. You would think once it hit something it would of stopped but by the looks of it it has ricocheted out of the test area, gone through a house, crossed a multilaned road and hit another house.

Pmsl!
I bet the insurance company is happy! I love the way they turned it into a life or death story. |

Looks like one of those freak accidents. They've used the Alameda bomb range many, many times before (with cannons too) and nothing like this ever happened.

must have been a silent cannon ball or the occupant was just very tired. |
