Default Gilligan dies

I don't know how many of you remember Giligan's Island, but I loved the show.
Who remembers Ginger? :

Bob Denver, the US actor who played goofy island castaway Gilligan in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island, has died of complications from cancer treatments.

Denver, 70, died last Friday at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Centre in North Carolina, his agent Mike Eisenstadt said today.

Gilligan's Island aired from 1964 to 1967, and became one of most enduring TV comedies in re-runs with a tale of seven people who were lost at sea and stranded on a deserted island.

Yes, I think they got off, then stranded again and then off again & turned the Island into a resort.

Other than his hair colour he hardly looked different in his old age. Sad to hear he died.

They just don't make TV like that anymore, do they?.... I remember coming home from school and the range of shows!... Gilligans Island, naturally, plus.. Dobie Gillis show (with Bob Denver)... Casey Jones (with Alan Hale Jr who was the skipper on G/Island) Family Affair (Sebastian Cabet I think & Buffy & Jodie) and Jet Jackson (The flying commando with Ickabod Mudd (TWO "D"s) ... Patti Duke show... I love Lucy... Sigh..
Sorry.... Way off track here..... R.I.P. Bob Denver, A legend to us "baby boomers"
