Recall for Ferrari models Ferrari 430 Scuderia/Scuderia Spider 16M.
Reason: Failure of rear tyres in their adhesion quality if vehicle is driven at a maintained constant maximum speed. :

I'd be happy with that. Firstly because I would own a Ferrari, secondly it's the hottest model ever made!

Well considering that Ferrari's are sold in Europe and that there are autobahns there where these sort of speeds are legal I'd be thinking there.

Surely any vehcile driven at "maintained constant maximum speed" would soon lose adhesion in its rear tyres Ferrari or not.

Not sure why this is a recall (seeing as our max legal speed is 110).

you wouldnt be travelling at maximum for that long'id imagine you would run out of road
at least they did a recall though

Found out top speed is a slow 315kmh. Thought Rod Easdown the journo in WA might have told them about it but he was busted speeding in a Ferrrari California.

This would be a blanket recall to all countries that this model was sold in regardless of speed limit.

And no they wouldn't, I dare say that the tyres were rated to a certain speed and it has been found that they are failing below that rating. Therefore a recall is a must because if someone dies as a result of an accident caused by an issue Ferrari knew about the poop would hit the fan.

Well it's happened to someone...

Blowing out a tire on the road is really not that fun at all, even more so if you're speeding on the highway. According to the accident-loving crew at 'Wreckexotics', the driver of the Ferrari F430 was allegedly flying going around 180mph - 290km/h when he heard a weird noise and decided to slow down. At about 120mph - 193km/h the rear tire on the passenger's side went out with a large bang destroying the rear quarter panel. Luckily for the driver, the unpleasant incident did not result in a crash. More photos after the jump.
