Yikes.... wonder what that would have cost to get made and set up?

And, with the costs involved with taking apart, transporting, putting back together then re-configuring it to what the buyer wants... is it worth it to any other manufacturer??

Wonder if it will sell for scrap metal in the end???

You'd be surprised at how cheap it can be to dismantle, ship, re-assemble and commission a used facility like this, when compared with purchasing, assembling and commissioning a new facility. I've been involved in a few and the cost savings are very much worth it.

Compare that to the VW plant in Germany and it looks like a 1930s saw mill.

I still want it for some reason.

Well how about we all chip in $5 and we'll have ourselves a car plant and build everything we want lol

Edit: At least we know we couldn't do much worse than some of the manufactures are at the moment

it's a sad thing.

The best midsize/large car Mitsu/chrysler ever made (exception of 300c). designed/built on shoestring budget.

Meanwhile Chrysler USA want billions to keep producing mid size FWD dross that cost twenty times as much to develop.

Proton should buy the lot. THey've done well with other old mitsu stuff

Outlanders, which suspiciously look a lot like the old Lada 4WD anyway.
