Reminds me of the time in Seaford (next to Frankston), same story and my missus said the cops blocking off the streets were getting pizza delivered to thier cars, thought it would have been doughnuts...

had a similar thing last month outside my house.

old duck over the road and her man had a domestic and she backed over him and dragged him down the street. he didn't make it. street was blocked off for the whole day.

strip of blood is still on the street with the rubber where she did a burnout while he was stuck under the car :(

it was just all suits at my place though, not enough arms to take on a small country like those pics!!

MP5

also, just for fun, an M4A1 with 12 gauge shotgun assembly.

It looks like both are in the pictures? Untrained eye here, first picture looks like the UMP and the second looks like the MP5, or the other way around, one has the curved magazine.

Few years back we had a painter turn up on the door step of a guy's house that was refusing to pay him for all his work. Painter had a rifle. About 5 cop cars later, all with their vests on and telling us to get inside. I think it was a good outcome though, all went home peacefully.

Just had an old neighbor phone us up to check everything was alright, they said that the swat teams truck went flying through Silverwater about half an hour before they got here.
So were are they based at?
Do they have silencers on their guns? As the shot I heard wasn't very loud.

Yeah thats the NSW State Protection Group (SPG) - their based in Surry Hills.

I saw the armoured bronco screaming past my work yesterday (Sydney CBD), followed by a couple of Nissan Patrols and about 10 minutes later they had an HR truck come through - I'm guessing the command post.

Doubt it mate, The shot would have be muffled due to it being inside a house and the guy would have had the muzzle up against his body, The type of Gun would have also made a difference to the noise, like if it was a 375H&H magnum you would have heard it 2 suburbs over LOL

Most gunshot's aren't as loud as you would think, even the old 12- gauge isn't that loud, or perhaps i am juts getting deafer LOL
