Default Would this cause me trouble (It's a sticker...)

I seen a post in another thread, and I was thinking...
Would police be able to fine me for having on my rear windshield
**P Plate here** Stands for "Prosecut me Mr Police Man" ?

I know it's more of a smart allic remark, and might just cause the coppers to get thier knickers in a knot and try and get me for something stupid (Like going through an amber light) or just plain accuss me of something I didn't do.

But soon I'll have a laptop in the car (screen mounted on the roof) and I'll have a couple of webcams recording the front, rear and speedo... So if they want to play smart, they could...

Or is it just a plain stupid idea? I've had quite a few stickers before that didn't cause me anything... None were aimed at police though.

Not worth it.

#1 rule of dealing with the police...... do as little as humanly possible to upset them, because once you fail the attitude test, you're screwed

Lol, the laptop is for in car entertainment, the cameras will use motion sensors at night and be on record. It's more an alarm if anything :P Also going to see about getting the headlights to flash with motion etc.

Screaming smartass? I think not...

I know that, I never used to mind police. But over time I'm starting to get a redneck hatred for them. I spose the idea is to be a smart *** and voice an opinion.

Hell, I see a police car now and just know the rest of it...

I should just wear no p plates and never be pulled over....

P plates don't always make a difference , my Mrs was on her way home from shopping a few weeks ago , HWP did a U-Turn , pulled her up and breath tested her " In front of our next door neighbours house " at 11-30am . He asked where she was going , she pointed to our house and said "THERE" , so he checked her licence thinking she was being smart : He did seem a little embarressed , and she's 51 .

Volcom, Wouldn't it simply be easier to poke a Raging Bull in the eye with your finger?
That way you won't have to buy a laptop and cameras and then have to replace them once a thief sees them. Mind you, there is a downside with possible medical expenses, but, you would still be able to drive around knowing that a policeman was watching over you.

Yet another dumb idea. Police already know that your car is registered to a P plater, it's another excuse to be pulled over and fined.

Obviously you're doing something wrong in the first place to attract their attention.

Just do it! Stir them up. If your car is legal, there is nothing they can do. High Way Patrol are nothing but a pack of a$$holes. I have the up most respect for general duties coppers, but HWP are just slime.

On new years day this year, I was just driving up my street which is a quiet neighbourhood street when a HWP car drove past and when he saw the P-Plate done a U-Turn, so he could breath test me at 11am. After I came up fine, he then waited for me to take off and followed me right up my A$$ all the way to my house. I can't speak for them in all areas but in the Marcarthur area, I have not yet met one who deserves any respect what so ever!

Much more effective would be "This car is under video surveillance".

Yeah he is a P-Plater, that is all he has done wrong. Obviously you're not a P-Plater and have never had to put up with what can only be described as harassment.

I think it's a very good idea. Upon reading your sticker, Mr Policeman would be more than happy to oblige. I think it's win/win. Mr Policeman fills his quota easy thanks to you, and you smarten up (eventually... I hope...)
