Or just have a look at a pic of Greg's XD

Edit: if you read the bonnet scoop regs (get the Vehicle Info Sheet on modifications from Vicroads website) I think if you get a scoop to cover it, your bug catcher will be legal.

What the hell.... did you respray the car yellow?

I didn't see this thread until now, VPW sell extra wide scoops that would have cleared the hole no problems for $120. Or my scoop, which I reckon is the best looking scoop ever made (only slightly biased though)!

Ever rang VPW lately? We rang 3 separate times to be told they don't have stock. Any they call themselves a performance shop?

The photo was done via a mobile phone hence crappy image.

I Agree! I wish I had a car that it suited... saw a White XY with the Boss scoop, but it was sitting too far forward... it'd probably look ok on mine sitting a little further back and in Black to match the GT blackouts.
I've seen a shot of the Cougar scoop thats identical but about 2/3 the height fitted to an XB coupe.... looked ok...

Got a bigger Piccy of the XD? Just can't get enough of Boss scoops...

No worries.

VPW haven't got stock yet? Thats poor. I called them September last year and they told me it'd be 3 months maximum.

It is poor when each time you ring your asking for a different item. The standard repsonse is we're having a container shipped over shortly. I juts got a dipstick via Hot Rod Hardware. The order hadn't left the US last week. I had my dipstick in my hands delivered to Hallam Performance today Thats service ;) I'm going to start shopping at Hot rod shops now. They parts are quicker to get and quite often on the shelf.

The ones I've found (local) are atleast 30-60% cheaper than regular perf shops ;) My dipstick for example was $135. VPW - $180. Superplus = $180.
