It's not a Ford, but hey, it's a big V8 that looks sexy. I can't wait to go for a spin!!

And if you're wondering, Ford never rang back so they can stick it. Very disappointing because he could be behind the wheel of a XR6T/XR8 with 6-speed for basically the same price (or less).
Hope your Bro enjoys his new Ute. Sorry to hear that the Ford dealer never rang back. Im sure that Holden & Ford dealers & any other dealers have been guilty of that (its not good to hear though.) Im sure if he was really keen to try a Ford for a test drive he would given another Ford dealer an oppurtunity IMO. It might seem like it after reading this post that im a car salesman (lol) but alas im not in in IT. :king:

Yeah you're right mate. If he was really keen to buy a Ford, alas he wasn't; he just wanted a brand new ute as soon as possible.

I'm no car salesman either (last year of studying IT finally!) but would treat a potential customer with some priority. A simple phone call and a test drive in an XR and I'm sure he'd be in one of those. I guess my point is that your average customer when buying a car will want to be treated with a bit of respect (especially if they are playing with a decent sum of money) and the initial impressions do play an important role. I know there are plenty of people who move away from certain manufacturers because of poor service - whether it be initially or for warranty/servicing etc.

slick, I think it's the 5.7l. I'll just have to wait and see : Actually, it should be the 6l being the Thunder and all???

Rest easy mate it will be a 6L. Agreed the Ford dealer should have called as he said he would. Whether your Brother had a lot or a little to spend. He needed to be treated as important. Its a pitty he didnt give another Ford dealer a go as if he drove an XR6T or XR8 ute & ZF 6 speed im sure he would have liked a lot. But he's getting himself a nice car in a VZ SS (even for a Holden hehe)
